I think the idea of being a parent is terrifying. We're (hopefully) about to take that leap (omg I can't believe I'm saying that), and I tell myself all the time "if so-and-so's kids are still alive, surely I can pull this off."Serial Monogamisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06240343915323669214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-256410146944524211.post-47782813571903224582014-01-19T23:23:40.576-06:002014-01-19T23:23:40.576-06:00I agree. But those people can just have their own kids, so...<br />Megshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14816741133777543843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-256410146944524211.post-36099824811976704912014-01-17T14:02:31.214-06:002014-01-17T14:02:31.214-06:00I mean... no one can tell you that you can't h...I mean... no one can tell you that you can't have a baby, if you're actually birthing it. And yet you have to fill out mountains of paperwork to adopt and then they CAN tell you that you can't have one. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME. I think if we're going to make sure all babies are going to good homes, everyone should have to complete a home inspection or evaluation or whatever. It just seems odd to me that anybody can just procreate, no forms required, and yet... the well-meaning individuals who want to offer a home to a child that isn't theirs, well. That's a huge debacle. I mean, I get WHY, it just seems unbalanced. You know? Kelly Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17260936832820893861noreply@blogger.com
